Introduction

Immortal MC aims to ensure your data is processed stored appropriately under GDPR law. Within this privacy notice the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the unincorporated association of Immortal MC and its respective Staff Team. 

Who we are?

Immortal MC is a whitelisted Minecraft Server with associated website and discord. The Data Controller is Lia Howie who can be contacted via the details provided in this policy. 

What information do we collect?

When you apply to become a whitelisted member of our server, and if you become one, we collect personal data (also known as personal information), this is information about an individual from which that person can be identified.

• To provide you with the services or information you have requested

• For administrative and moderation purposes

• For internal record keeping and statistical analysis

• Where it is required or authorised by law

We collect your personal data under the following grounds: 

• Your Consent: To allow us to provide you with the services requested, such as access to the Immortal MC server. You can withdraw your consent at any time and can do this by contacting the Data Controller using the details provided below. 

• Legitimate Interests: For administrative and moderation purposes of the management of our server and associated resources, as well as for the security of our resources. 

When is personal data shared?

Personal data is treated confidentially and is only shared between the Staff Team for the purpose of legitimate interest in the administration and moderating of services we provide. 

How do we secure personal data? 

We aim to process and store your data securely and seek to prevent unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of stored information and utilise reasonable security measures to do so. Personal data stored is treated as confidential by those with access to it. 

How long do we keep your personal data for? 

We will store your personal data for the duration where you continue to access our services as a whitelisted member and up to a year after. In some cases, we may only store information for the periods needed for the purposes for which the information was collected for which it is to be further processed. Sometimes we will keep personal data for longer if we are required to by law. Otherwise, it is deleted.

Under data protection law, you have rights including: 

• Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information. 

• Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

• Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances. 

• Your right to object to processing - You have the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances. 

• Your right to data portability - You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances. You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.

This privacy policy is governed by and interpreted according to English law. All disputes arising under this privacy policy are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. 

Immortal MC and our respective Data Controller reserves the right to change this privacy policy as we may deem necessary from time to time or as may be required by law. Any changes will be immediately posted on the website, and you are deemed to have accepted the terms of the privacy policy on your first use of our services following the alterations.
